We're a job board, not a recruitment agency. We publish ads and host applications — we don't broker matches or take success fees. Here's what that looks like for each side.
Looking for work

Create your profile in 4 minutes
Name, location, contact, right-to-work status, what you're looking for. Upload a CV if you've got one. Free, no card, no upsells.

Search and apply
Filter by sector, town, salary, hours. Apply with one click — we send the employer your profile and any cover note you've written. We don't sit in the middle.

Create a profileHear back from the employer
Replies land in your Wight List inbox or your email — your choice. The employer is the one talking to you. There's no recruiter taking a cut of your future salary.
Hiring on the island

Post your ad in 3 minutes
Title, location, what you're paying, what you need. Pay with a card. First listing is free for every new employer — no card needed.

Live in 4 working hours
A real person on the island reads every ad before publication. Mon–Fri 8am–6pm. We'll flag anything that needs a rewrite (e.g. unintentionally discriminatory language) before charging you.

Post a jobApplications direct to you
Inbox in Wight List, your careers email, or a daily CSV digest. You reply direct to the candidate. We never broker or shortlist on your behalf.
What we don't do
No recruiter fees on either side. No “we'll send you the best candidates” — that's an agency, not a board. No success commission, no rebate scales, no holding your payroll. Just a place to list a job and hear back from real people.
