Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using The Wight List you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.


2. The service

The Wight List is an Isle of Wight job board connecting employers and job seekers. We are not a recruitment agency and do not act as an intermediary in employment relationships.


3. Employer obligations

Employers must ensure all job listings are accurate, lawful, and comply with the Equality Act 2010. You must hold a valid Data Processing Agreement with us before processing candidate data.


4. Applicant obligations

You confirm that information submitted in applications is truthful. You must be at least 16 years old to register.


5. Payments

Listing fees are charged per ad as displayed. VAT is applied at the prevailing UK rate. Refunds are at our discretion.


6. Liability

We are not liable for employment decisions made using our platform. The Wight List Ltd's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the 3 months prior to any claim.


7. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
